Description of Zelotes latreillei (Latreilles zipper)
Physical Characteristics
Female 6 to 9 mm.
Abdomen black-brown.
Carapace shiny black-brown.
Legs shiny black-brown with slightly lighter tarsi.
Palps shiny black-brown.
Male 4.5 to 8 mm.
Markings and colours almost identical to the female.
Habitat
In heathlands and forests on dry and damp places.
Distribution
Common in the whole of Europe.
Period
All year.
